Terry writes: “This is a shot I took, then had some fun with it in a free photo program named “Zoner.” I feel like I should name the shot High Anxiety.” This is the Capitol Shopping Centre in Cardiff, Wales (not Maryland). “Zoner” is commercial photography software which, among other things, can “use the Droste Effect tool to create pictures that repeat inward into themselves.” Here we have excellent photography which is also very cool! Dave writes: “A different sort of a barn shot. Gotta be a story here. Actually, this is our neighbor Bruce’s barn, very old and huge. Lots of rotting wood, and the whole structure had taken about a 5° southern list. They corrected the list with three northbound tractors and a bunch of rope, then triangulated it internally with new lumber to stabilize it. Lots of work remains, but Bruce is a preserver. What a job.” … Click image for large desktop file. Also browse all images in Dave’s Gallery.

#1. The St. Louis Arch close up.
#2. The muddy Mississippi as seen from an old time river boat.
#3. Bridge across Mississippi: from a sailing perspective.
#4. St. Louis Arch at night with full moon. Yes, it really looks that.”
