This just in, from iolo:
We’ve had overwhelming requests from customers to extend our special Holiday promotion, so we’ve decided to continue offering it for a few more days.
System Mechanic is also now compatible with 64-bit systems, so there are even more reasons to celebrate!
For a limited time, Upgrade to System Mechanic 8.5 now for $19.95 (regularly $49.95) and SAVE 60% OFF.
Hurry, this offer expires 12/16/08.
All I want to know: wouldn’t it take longer for customers to figure out how to ask for an extension of a $19.95 special, than to just spend the $19.95 and order it? Concerning sale price “carry-overs” in general: do customers really request more time to save up for the $19.95 special, or is the vendor just stuck with unsold excess inventory?
