Used for the 1996 annual PAUG picnic. It was a great hit!
2 16 oz. cans of Pork & Beans
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar
2 tablespoons Catchup
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon prepared mustard
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 slices of bacon
Combine all ingredients except the bacon; stir well. Spoon mixture into a lightly greased, shallow, 2 quart baking dish. Arrange the bacon slices on top. Bake the beans, uncovered, at 375 degrees F for 1 hour. Yield: six servings.
