Carol's Sawmill Gravy

1 lb bulk sausage (we like Jimmy Dean hot)
1/4 cup flour
1 1/2 cups milk



Al said you wanted my recipe for sawmill gravy. It is very easy.

Recipe makes 2 1/2 cups of gravy, but can be cut in half for two.

Brown sausage in skillet, when cooked sprinkle flour over meat and stir until flour is no longer visible.

Slowly add milk stirring all the while.

Salt and pepper to taste

If gravy becomes to thick add more milk

(I like to add just a drop of gravy master or kitchen bouquet to add a little color.)

Serve over hot biscuits. Great for breakfast or brunch.
