Microwave Poached Eggs


(Directions for using Microwave Egg Poacher)



Grease poacher with oil, margarine or butter.
Add 1 teaspoon of water to each holder.
Place 1 egg in each holder.
Pierce white and yolk with toothpick before cooking.


Cover and cook for 90 to 240 seconds (1min 30 sec to 4min). (Approximately 1 min 30 sec for soft yolks, 4 min for firmer yolks).

The above times may vary with the power level of your microwave. After a few uses you should be able to determine the approximate cooking time.

You may experience a popping sound during cooking. This occurs because of a temperature change from extreme cold to hot. This is normal. To avoid popping, break yolks before cooking.
