Macaroni Sauté

 

Macaroni (chicken, tuna or shrimp) Sauté

 

Ingredients:

2 cups elbow macaroni, uncooked (8 oz. pkg.)
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/8 tsp. onion powder
1/2 cup cooking (salad) oil
1/2 cup chopped green pepper
3 cups tomato juice
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 cup cooked diced chicken, tuna or shrimp

 

Saute macaroni, onion, green pepper in hot oil until macaroni turns slightly yellow. Add onion powder, tomato juice, salt, pepper, Worcester. Bring to boil. Cover, reduce heat and simmer 20 minutes, add chicken, tuna or shrimp and heat 5 minutes more. Makes 6 servings.
