"Try These"




Serves 8


2 lbs. lean ground beef
1 large onion, finely chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
2 tbsp. chili powder
2 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. pepper
1 bay leaf
2 16 oz cans kidney beans, drained
2 16 oz. cans stewed tomatoes


In large skillet, saute beef, onion and garlic until meat is slightly browned. Drain off excess fat. Stir in remaining ingredients and heat to just boiling. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove bay leaf and serve.
