ABOUT La Parola: La Parola was originally the monthly newsletter of the Gay Italian American Club, a small, private, nonpolitical, social and benevolent society of men and women in the San Francisco Bay Area since 1984. Our purpose was and is to promote friendship and fellowship and to be a positive and benevolent force within the general community.

The last printed paper newsletter was mailed out in 1998 .You can view it as a PDF if you have Adobe Acrobat Reader. The club has been inactive for several years, but the tradition lives on with the world wide web.

Here, on the Web, we also post outreach listings to other Gay/Lesbian/Bisexual sites and resources which can quickly become accessible to you, friends, and family.
