Biggest State!

An Alaskan and a Texan were boasting about how big their respective states were. The Texan allowed as how Texas was the by far the biggest state in the lower 48. Inevitably, the Alaskan observed that you could put all of Texas comfortably inside his more Northern state.

The Texan thought a moment, and opined: "But, if you melted all the ice in Alaska, there wouldn't be much left of it."

Immediate rejoinder: "Of course, there wouldn't be much left of Texas, either!"
