The blurbs you read on our home page are called excerpts. Something in all the installations has changed since yesterday 7/23, and we don’t know what it is.
We used to put basic HTML markup in the excerpts so you could click a link and go straight to a new post in any Summitlake department. Now, as you can see below, WordPress displays all the markup tags instead of formatting the links and such.
Articles are unaffected. The issue affects only the “excerpts”. It’s unsightly. For the time being, since there are no links to click, just use the blue menu to navigate to the department cited. Newest articles are always on top.
We’ll get to the bottom of it, but it’s unclear what changed since we haven’t done any software updates or upgrades in about a week. Thanks for bearing with us!
